Great Phuket Rubber Duck Race comes again !!!
The Phuket Community Foundation launched Race Day with a press conference today at the Blue Elephant Restaurant in Phuket Town.
We were delighted with the turnout — around 100 local journalists and sponsors came to see what Race Day is all about.
It also have a lot of fun activities and the Dream Gallery, who has pledged B250,000 as name sponsor of the Great Phuket Rubber Duck Race.
We also dragged onstage Grace Wilton, who’s done an absolutely stunning job of convincing sponsors to back our big event. So far we’ve secured 27 sponsors — and Grace has her eye on lots more. If you want to contribute, contact her by email to sponsorship@phuketcharity.org
We also had the magical Joe Conrad up on his feet, producing eggs out of nowhere, and even a rubber duck out of thin air. Joe will be doing a big show at Race Day.
In addition to the event were members of the Phuket Classic Car Club, who brought along four of their beautifully restored cars.
