Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket – An Evening of Beef Delicacies on the Beachfront
Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket hosted an innovative evening of ‘Beef Delicacies’ accompanied by a selection of newly imported wines at the Karon hotel’s stylish five-star Italian beachfront restaurant Mare.

The evening’s unique concept was to bring together the culinary talents of Chef Haikal and Chef Sandro to introduce other resort chefs on the island to the creative combinations possible with special grain-fed ‘condabri’ beef cuts supplied by Jagota Phuket.
The selection of fine French and Californian wines was supplied by specialist Bangkok-based importers Water & Wine, operator of Water Library.

The seven-course culinary adventure brought unique fusions of surf and turf to the table, including: an amuse bouche of Tenderloin and Monkfish Liver; a starter of Tongue and Scallop; and a main course of Tuna and Beef Oyster Blade.

Jagota Phuket general manager George Des said the aim of the evening was to demonstrate how high quality dishes could be achieved with secondary
